In early March, a wave of Middle Eastern capital and geopolitical narratives pushed the price from 0.02 to 0.055, soaring over 150% in 7 days, and everyone shouted 'digital sovereignty life boat.' But once the peak arrived, profit-takers rushed out. On April 28, a large unlocking is imminent (about 400 million SIGN, worth over 13 million dollars, accounting for over 20% of the released supply), with VC costs between 0.005 and 0.01 dollars, and now there's immense pressure to exit at 3-6 times the cost. The entire market is risk-off, and Bitcoin is affected by macro and leverage, causing altcoins to suffer, with $SIGN, as a small-cap infrastructure coin, having high elasticity and dropping even harder.

In the bull market of 2020, I heavily invested $0.028 in $ADA , and within three months it surged to $1.26, adding six zeros to my account. I even wore out my mortgage calculator. What was the result? I didn’t sell a single cent.

First: Tiered take-profit, only take the meat from the fish.
Before building my position, I write a script:
When it hits 2.1: sell 32%, recoup the principal.
When it hits 3.2: sell another 28%, lock in profits.
Remaining 40%: set a trailing stop at 16% below the highest point to automatically liquidate.
I don’t aim to sell at the peak, but I won’t miss out on the main upward wave.
Second: Hard stop-loss, 4.8% is my safety line.
This is a lifesaver. Building a position with 11,000 USDT, if it drops to 528 USDT, I’ll cut it immediately. I set a conditional order in advance: -9.5% to automatically close — wider than 4.8%, to leave some buffer for spikes. When the market collapses, emotions are the least useful thing.

Third: Against human nature — admit that you can’t catch the tail of the fish.
Many people lose money due to one obsession: “I must sell at the highest point.” As a result, they hesitate to sell when it rises and are unwilling to cut losses when it falls, ultimately giving back all their profits.
My current mindset is very simple: let others have the fish head and tail, I only eat the plump middle part.
Does it seem conservative? This year, my account has a steady return of 36.8%.
