1. Subjects of application

According to Resolution 05:
• Organizations and enterprises in Vietnam
• Individuals (residents & non-residents)
• Parties involved: transactions, transfers, business, providing crypto asset services

2. VAT
• Transfer/sale of crypto assets:
👉 Exempt from VAT
• Related services (exchanges, brokers…): may be subject to tax according to separate regulations

3. Corporate Income Tax (CIT)

According to the Corporate Income Tax Law:
• Income from transfers & crypto services:
👉 Tax rate 20%
• Taxable income = Selling price – Purchase price – Valid expenses
📌 Expenses must have legal documents

4. Personal Income Tax (PIT)

According to the Personal Income Tax Law:
• Individuals with income from crypto transfers:
👉 Must declare and pay tax
• Common calculation methods:
• 0.1% on transaction value, or
• According to actual profit (depending on guidance for each period)

5. Effective date

👉 Applies from 27/03/2026

Erik Voorhees continues to quietly DCA $ETH despite the market correction

The founder of ShapeShift – Erik Voorhees – continues to demonstrate strong confidence in Ethereum by maintaining his DCA strategy even during this price decline.

In the last 2 days, he has raised approximately 6.3 million USDT to buy an additional 2,972 ETH at an average price of around $2,125.

Since the time he resumed accumulating, the total amount of ETH that Voorhees has purchased has reached approximately 120,768 ETH (~$251 million), with an average cost basis of around $2,156. With the current price movements, this position is temporarily at a loss.

Notably, on-chain data shows that the buying activity has not stopped — even the most recent transaction recorded was just a few minutes ago, indicating that the accumulation process is still ongoing.
