These past few days, I've been focused on the 70K position of BTC, and it's making me a bit dizzy. The sideways movement resembles an ECG, neither going up nor down. After a significant drop, this is the consolidation period; the panic has passed, and technical indicators are gradually leveling off. However, after doing on-chain research for so many years, to be honest, it's a time for more observation and less action. With resources in hand, there's no need to panic. But the funds won't be idle. When BTC is fluctuating at a high level, I tend to look into projects that have underlying logic.

Recently, I've been repeatedly looking at @SignOfficial . At first, I was quite impressed with their on-chain certification approach, turning identity, interaction, contribution, etc., into verifiable data, which indeed can prevent witch hunts, and it makes it easier for the project team to filter users. But the more I think about it, the more I feel there's a problem: will this certification become commonplace? In the past, early addresses were scarce and valuable; now, if everyone rushes to label and certify, wouldn't it be like everyone having a certificate? The unique value of the labels would be lost. $SIGN now seems more like a standardized accounting tool, and the more it records, the less valuable it becomes. I'm a bit worried that on-chain users will end up being a bunch of cold labels; the project team originally intended to improve efficiency, but it may backfire, which is quite ironic. Of course, I might be overthinking it. The key may not be the number of certifications but the weight; whose proof carries more weight. I haven't seen a perfect solution yet, but during this period of BTC consolidation, observing the structural evolution of these types of projects is much better than mindlessly chasing them.

What attracts me more is their attempts in cross-chain and institutional-level solutions. They aren't getting caught up in a single public chain; they've created a dual-track bridging system, compatible with systems like Hyperledger Fabric, and they've left room for compliant channels. High TPS only makes sense in this kind of architecture. This narrative of 'non-single chain' seems to be slowly gaining recognition from investors recently. I've cleared out a few underperforming single-chain projects and taken a small position in SIGN. The wind is changing; the underlying logic is worth following, but as usual, the risk is on you, DYOR. #Signๅœฐ็ผ˜ๆ”ฟๆฒปๅŸบๅปบ
