Recently, I had an interesting conversation with a friend who has been working in the banking sector for many years. He shared an opinion that made me look at the usual 'safe' assets differently.
We tend to think that gold is a universal protection in times of crisis. However, according to him, in modern conditions, it's not so straightforward. Rising energy costs and complicated logistics make physical assets more vulnerable. If supply chains are disrupted, gold no longer seems like such a convenient and reliable tool.

After my initial introduction to @MidnightNetwork I decided to study their whitepaper in more detail, and I must say - the technical side is even more impressive. The main problem with modern blockchains is total transparency, which often hinders the corporate sector. Midnight solves this through an innovative architecture.
​The project uses the Kachina programming language, which allows for the creation of zero-knowledge (ZK) smart contracts. What does this mean for us? It means we can prove ownership of an asset or fulfillment of a condition without showing the whole world our wallet balance. In this context, the $NIGHT token acts not just as a unit of account, but as fuel for secure data transmission.
​I was pleasantly surprised by how the team integrates the principles of selective disclosure. This allows one to be anonymous to the network while remaining "compliant" for regulators if necessary. Midnight Network creates a bridge between cypherpunk ideals and real business needs. $NIGHT is the foundation of a new ecosystem where privacy is a default right, not a luxury. It’s hard to ignore the hype surrounding Artificial Intelligence these days, but it’s even more interesting to watch how people try to merge it with blockchain. Recently, while researching the @Fabric Foundation project, I tried to understand whether there is real technological value here or if it’s just another attempt to jump on a trendy bandwagon.
Fabric Foundation operates at the intersection of AI and decentralization. The idea sounds decent - making intellectual computing more open so it doesn’t just belong to a few corporate giants. However, we’ve already seen practical cases that collapsed despite loud claims. That’s why any new solutions in this field should be approached with a good deal of skepticism.
The $ROBO token is at the center of this ecosystem. It is positioned as the network's fuel, meant to power all processes and incentivize developers. But in a volatile market, the question remains: can the $ROBO token hold its ground and show real utility, or will it just become part of another bubble?
For now, I’m just watching how the team executes their plans. The AI-crypto sector is very shaky right now, and only time will tell if Fabric Foundation has something more than just a nice concept.

It will be very interesting to see how the project scales from here and whether it can set a new standard for app developers.
