🚨 Binance converts the SAFU fund of 1 Bi US$ to BTC
Binance is converting US$ 1 billion from the US$ SAFU fund to Bitcoin.
Announced at the end of January 2026, the plan provides for a gradual transition over 30 days, with purchases in batches of around US$ 100 million (two batches have already been executed, totaling ~US$ 200 million and ~2,630 BTC).
If the value falls below US$ 800 million due to BTC volatility, Binance commits to replenishing with its own treasury.

Hey, have you ever stopped to think about how a simple hackathon project can change the game of digital sovereignty?
It all started in 2019, at ETHWaterloo, when the project was still called EthSign. An initial idea of decentralized digital signatures, created to solve a real problem: how to prove information online securely, transparently, and without relying on centralized giants.
The founders — Xin Yan (CEO, with a strong background in crypto investments and strategic vision), Jack Xu (CTO, professor of Blockchain at the University of Southern California and one of the youngest instructors in the field) and Potter Li (co-founder focused on product and operations) — did not imagine that this tool would evolve so much.
