In the past few days, I have repeatedly analyzed every move of the Midnight Network. To be honest, what has always struck me is not some flashy technical concept but the clarity that comes from seeing through the hypocrisy in the industry. I've been watching from the sidelines for too long: insiders cling to the secrecy of Web3 while being terrified of regulatory sanctions, like a group of people wanting to cheat while being afraid of getting hit. The underlying logic of Midnight and $NIGHT, which is 'visibility on demand,' exactly hits the balance I've been looking for—not complete invisibility, but the right to decide who can see and what they can see.

I have never believed in any utopia of 'complete anonymity on the internet'; that is too idealistic and cannot withstand the blows of reality. What truly moves me is their privacy stablecoin and confidential transactions running smoothly on the preview network. In my trading logic, integrating financial-grade privacy protection into real business flows is far more effective than a thousand beautiful PPTs. This is the kind of verification I recognize: it's not about talk; it's about real-world implementation capability, something ordinary people can use.

Let’s talk about $NIGHT, which I monitor daily; the market will never lie. The current price is bouncing around $0.043, with a circulating market cap just over 700 million, yet a daily turnover has reached 300 million USD. After years of trading, I am very familiar with this type of 'massive stagnation' market: funds are in a fierce game of speculation, long and short positions battling intensely, while beneath the surface calm lies a torrent. What makes me more vigilant is the mountain of chips pressing down from above: the existing circulation is at a level of 10 billion, hard capped at 24 billion, still bound by the official unlocking mechanism. I know all too well that any slight disturbance in the short term will trigger huge volatility; it is naive to expect to win just by relying on the narrative.

However, I do hold a slightly higher view of its dual-token design: $NIGHT governs, and DUST is used as fuel. If it can truly pull users out of the quagmire of 'selling tokens to pay for gas,' in my evaluation model, this is definitely a killer move to retain users; but the premise is that the ecosystem must have fresh energy, with real people interacting and getting things done. Otherwise, no matter how smooth DUST is, in my eyes, it is just a pretty but useless industrial waste that cannot support any value.

So my current trading principle is particularly cold-blooded: strategically, I am willing to applaud its ambition for a breakthrough in 'privacy + compliance,' after all, this is the path the entire industry is looking for; but tactically, I must prioritize 'safety and risk avoidance,' as capital is always more important than the narrative. From now on, I will focus solely on three things:

1. Will the mainnet be delivered on time by the end of March, or has there been any cutting corners?

2. Are there real users interacting frequently within the ecosystem, rather than bots inflating the data?

3. Can the massive unlocked chips be digested by real demand, rather than being dumped for cash?

The market has never lacked grand narratives; any project can paint a beautiful picture, but our capital is limited. While narratives can be enticing, I require my positions to remain calm at all times, never allowing emotions to dictate my actions. After all, in this circle, surviving is the only way to talk about the future.
