I will be real at first I did not take $SIGN Protocol seriously it felt like just another system claiming to fix trust but not really changing how things work underneath
What made me rethink everything was not the idea but the structure behind it especially how it connects identity action and reward in one flow instead of treating them as separate things
I have personally experienced campaigns where I did everything correctly followed all steps stayed active and still did not get rewarded while inactive or low effort accounts somehow qualified that is where doubt starts not just about fairness but about whether these systems can actually verify anything properly
Most platforms today only record activity they do not prove it in a reliable way data exists but it is weak and easy to misinterpret or even manipulate over time
What changed my view was understanding how Sign focuses on verifiable credentials and attestations this means actions are not just logged they are confirmed by a trusted issuer and structured in a way that can be checked later across systems
The part that stood out the most to me is revocable attestations this is important because reality changes but most systems do not update with it someone can qualify once and stay eligible even when their situation is no longer the same or the opposite can happen where someone becomes eligible but the system is too slow to catch it
With revocation and expiration built in the system stays live identity is not frozen eligibility is not outdated and rewards can actually reflect what is true in the moment
Another strong point is how it allows identity to move across platforms instead of proving myself again and again on different systems the same verified credentials can be reused this saves time and also builds consistency which is missing in most web3 experiences
When I connect this back to real problems like unfair reward distribution or broken campaign tracking it starts to make sense Sign is not just storing data it is creating a structure where proof follows the user and stays updated

It does not mean everything becomes perfect there are still open questions like who controls the issuers how widely this will be adopted and how it performs at large scale but compared to most systems this feels closer to something that can actually work in real conditions
So for now I am not blindly convinced but I am definitely paying attention and watching how it develops
