Binance VIP program is evolving to better recognize the broad base of high-value users contributing to the platform, enabling us to identify and support them earlier in their journey as they deepen engagement across our ecosystem.
As part of this, Binance is updating key VIP program eligibility criteria across trading and capital allocation, while ensuring tier recognition remains tied to sustained and meaningful engagement.
We are lowering BNB holding thresholds and aligning them across VIP programs, making VIP level progression more accessible while maintaining program integrity.
* The BNB requirement change applies to all VIP programs.
We are also lowering Futures trading volume requirements for USDⓈ-Margined Futures and COIN-Margined Futures to better match current market dynamics and participation patterns.
With the qualification requirements updated, VIP 1-2 trading fees have been slightly adjusted to maintain a balanced fee structure. VIP 3 trading fees remain unchanged.
* Required Futures Trading Volume is based on 30-day rolling Futures total volume in USD value.
Enhanced Referral Eligibility for the Futures Referral & Affiliate Program
Effective from 2026-03-19, and in alignment with the updated Futures VIP thresholds, users will now be eligible to receive Futures commissions generated by referrals from regular to VIP 2 users, an increase from the previous cap of VIP 1.
Additionally, Futures trading volume generated by referrals within this expanded VIP range will be included in Affiliates’ Futures Evaluation performance metrics.
Users who qualify for VIP through holding or investing activities (including Binance Earn) will now follow a new eligibility framework under the Holder Program. This gives VIP users greater flexibility to allocate assets across products while maintaining the highest VIP level they qualify for.
In addition, BNB holdings will now count toward both overall asset calculations and the BNB holding requirement. The updated Holder program will include assets across all Binance accounts, including Spot, Futures, Funding, Earn and Alpha.
For example, if your account holds 250 BNB (assuming it is equivalent to 150,000 USD) along with other assets worth 100,000 USD, your total account asset holding will be considered as 250,000 USD and 250 BNB. This meets the VIP BNB holding requirement, making you eligible for the new Holder VIP 2 status.
This update also expands eligible VIP levels for holders and investors. With this change, users can now qualify for VIP 5-9 based on asset holdings, creating a clearer pathway for long-term holders and investors to reach higher VIP levels.
* Average Net Asset Amount (USD) refers to the higher of the 30-day average net assets or the previous day's net assets, where applicable.
We’re introducing VIP Rising Star, created to recognize and support high-potential users on their journey towards Binance VIP.
Users with a daily or 30-day average net asset balance of 30,000 USD (including 5 BNB or more) will be eligible for this exclusive title, created for engaged, growing holders who have not yet unlocked full VIP benefits.
VIP Rising Stars will receive personalized VIP support, access to curated events, and exclusive opportunities designed to help them progress to Binance VIP faster, while being rewarded along the way.
BNB Holding, Futures Trading Requirement & Referral and Affiliate Program: Updates take effect on 2026-03-19 23:59 (UTC).
New VIP Holder Program: Updates will be reflected on 2026-03-20 23:59 (UTC).
VIP Rising Star: Updates take effect on 2026-03-20 23:59 (UTC).
Eligible users will be automatically upgraded to the corresponding VIP level once the changes go live. Upon upgrade, users can view their latest VIP Level in the My VIP mobile hub.
There are several ways to qualify for Binance VIP, including trading, holding, and borrowing. You can achieve VIP status by meeting any of the minimum requirements shown.
VIP levels are updated daily at 08:00 (UTC) based on the applicable requirements. If you qualify under multiple criteria, your VIP level will reflect the highest level you meet.
