For centuries, the West has dominated the world through war. Colonization, slavery, genocides, military invasions: Western power has been built on blood, destruction, and the plundering of resources. Entire continents have paid the price of this domination imposed by force.

Today, another model is emerging. China is becoming a global power without waging large-scale wars or exterminating peoples to assert itself. It advances through economy, trade, investments, and infrastructure. Where some have imposed their power through bombs, China is extending its influence through roads, ports, and agreements.

This model is not perfect, but it raises an essential question:

Must we necessarily go to war to dominate the world?

The 21st century may mark the end of a domination based on violence and the beginning of an era where power is played differently. History is changing its method.

And you, which model seems the most sustainable to you?
