#plasma $XPL @Plasma

The XPL project (eXperimental Plasma Laboratory) is an ambitious research initiative aimed at pushing the boundaries of plasma technology applied to waste recovery. It is not an industrial unit, but a state-of-the-art experimental pilot designed as a modular and ultra-instrumented test bench.

Its main objective is to optimize and scientifically validate plasma gasification processes. In real but controlled conditions, researchers test different types of waste (medical, special industrial, grinding residues, etc.) to precisely characterize the output products: the composition of the syngas, the stability of the vitrified slag, and the behavior of heavy metals.
