Ripple’s stablecoin RLUSD has been officially approved for use inside the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) by the DFSA.

Only three stablecoins are currently recognized:

USDC

EURC

RLUSD

Dubai also set strict rules:

• Privacy coins excluded

• Algorithmic stablecoins banned

• No crypto- or private-credit–backed reserves

Only fully backed, transparent stablecoins qualify.

The message is clear: Dubai isn’t anti-crypto.
