Record the purchase of the first international gold bar 1oz (approximately 31.1g), 🇨🇭 #Switzerland #Pamp #Fortuna #GoddessOfWealth 👸
It has the highest quality of gold refining with LBMA international certification, art collectible grade (is it called the Hermes of gold?) The more I look, the better it gets 🙂
P.S. I noticed that the largest stablecoin in the crypto space, Tether (USDt), surprisingly swept up gold in Q3 of 2025, buying more than several central banks together, which suddenly piqued my curiosity about Why?
As someone who has always bought Bitcoin (the modern digital gold), I feel that gold is very traditional, like an asset category that only parents and grandparents buy 😅, and with factors like volatility and liquidity, I have never been that interested. However, after some research, I found it quite interesting, and surprisingly, the increase in 2025 exceeded that of the US stock market, amazing! I decided to slowly collect some gold to add to my asset category and experience it 😆
At first, I had no clue, so I drew a size chart on paper (bottom left of image two), to see how big the physical gold bar should be. It turns out 1g is so small 🤣, almost like a fingernail, so I felt the premium was too high. Later, I decided to buy a 1oz first, as it felt a bit more tangible visually and when held, and the premium was relatively reasonable, making it easier to acquire slowly.
When I bought it, gold was almost at a historical high xD 4200👀, hoping for a chance to drop so I can Buy the Dip~, the more I look, the more I want to buy 😅
I plan to slowly collect other visually appealing international brand bars (maybe add one 1oz for every 2-300 point drop? Haha), like the Australian Swan / Canadian Maple Leaf, UBS, etc. (the right side of image two, suggestions from Google's Gemini AI)
This time I bought it from Truney, the only two officially authorized stores in Taiwan for Swiss Pamp. Friends who are more professional in gold can exchange ideas 😆
