🚨 MSCI May Remove Strategy From Major Indices — $8.8B Outflow Risk$BTC

According to PANews, Strategy, the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, is currently in talks with MSCI over a possible removal from the MSCI USA and MSCI World indices.
A final decision is expected by January 15, 2026.
If Strategy gets excluded, analysts warn this could trigger up to $8.8 billion in passive fund outflows, especially from ETFs.
💬 Michael Saylor, Executive Chairman of Strategy, said the company is engaging in the process but is unsure about JP Morgan’s outflow estimates.
He also pointed out that the sharp BTC drop from $120,000 in October, combined with an AI bubble and economic uncertainty, is putting pressure on all risk assets.
📉 Strategy’s stock is already down 37% this year, and similar companies may be forced to sell assets if market conditions worsen — potentially adding more downward pressure.
