President of El Salvador announces purchase of US$ 100 million in bitcoin after asset's decline
The president of El Salvador Nayib Bukele announced last Monday, 17, that the country invested an additional US$ 100 million in bitcoin amid the sharp decline of the asset. In total, the nation purchased more than 1,000 units of the cryptocurrency, even with the intense devaluation in recent days.
