The Fusaka network upgrade is expected to be activated on the Ethereum mainnet at slot 13,164,544, expected to occur at 21:49:11 UTC on December 3, 2025. This upgrade introduces a fork branch specifically for Blob (Blob-only fork - BPO) to safely expand blob traffic after the activation of PeerDAS. A key feature of Fusaka is PeerDAS (Sampling the availability of peer data), which significantly improves blob traffic. Fusaka also optimizes execution and consensus layers to enhance the performance of L1 and improve user experience. [PANews]
