Arthur Hayes: U.S. monetary policy may be "stealth quantitative easing"

According to "Oudely," Arthur Hayes suggested that the actions of the U.S. Treasury and the Federal Reserve may pave the way for "stealth quantitative easing," which could act as a major catalyst for a new increase in Bitcoin and the wider cryptocurrency market. U.S. government spending is currently expanding, with political incentives favoring debt issuance over tax increases. Given the risk of confiscation of dollar assets in the wake of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, foreign central banks tend to buy gold instead of U.S. Treasury bonds. Domestic savings rates in the U.S. are not sufficient to support government bond issuance, and the four major commercial banks have absorbed only a small portion of the new debt. Relative value (RV) hedge funds have become marginal buyers of U.S. debt, primarily using repurchase agreements for leveraged financing.#FOMCMeeting #SolanaETFInflows #BinanceLiveFutures #BinanceLiveFutures #BinanceHODLerMorpho
