Poverty is like a seed that slavery planted in the soil of capitalism. It has grown in such a way that, without this horrible and hateful tree, the exploiting class is not able to harvest any fruit. That's why poverty is seen naturally as something to blame on the workers, and also why it will never end unless capitalism itself is overcome: if not for poverty, the condition of being exploited would be unacceptable. In other words, all the fruits are stolen from the tree, and then the tree itself is blamed for being constantly bare, and the only way out for the tree is to generate a seed to be planted in another soil.
