The idea is simple:

If AI agents are going to participate in the digital economy, they need a financial layer that is programmable and always available.

Blockchain can provide that layer.

Another interesting point mentioned is the connection between AI and NFTs.

NFTs introduce programmable digital ownership.
When combined with AI, they could enable entirely new models for:
