Amazon faces further AWS service interruptions in the Middle East
Amazon AWS stated on Monday that due to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, it is facing service interruptions again in Bahrain. "During our recovery efforts, we are working closely with local authorities and prioritizing the safety of our personnel," a spokesperson said in a statement. AWS advised customers to migrate their applications to other AWS regions and stated that it has helped a large number of users complete this operation. Previously, the cloud service provider reported that at the beginning of March, service interruptions related to the conflict with Iran occurred in Bahrain and the UAE. These AWS interruptions had previously led to reports of disruptions in some applications and digital services in the UAE. In recent weeks, Iran has continued to launch missile and drone attacks against its Middle Eastern neighbors as part of its retaliation against Israel and the United States.
