Millions of Americans have reportedly turned to the streets, with an estimated 3,000 protests taking place in all 50 states, according to preliminary estimates.
The demonstrations, organized under the “No King” banner, are largely framed as opposition to perceived authoritarian tendencies associated with Donald Trump, as well as criticism of ongoing foreign conflicts particularly tensions involving Iran.
Domestic dissatisfaction seems to be becoming worse at the same time that external geopolitical pressure keeps getting stronger.
In light of this, it begs the question of whether there is enough political emphasis to achieve goals like making the United States a global center for cryptocurrency.
