Recently, a Ukrainian blogger living in China, "juliiachina", took her 9-year-old son to the supermarket,

only to be repeatedly harassed by an elderly man.

The man first asked the child where he was from, and upon learning it was Ukraine,

immediately mocked: "Do you know Ukraine is at war? They can't win against Russia, they have been defeated!"

The child tried multiple times to avoid and maintain distance,

but the man still followed him, coldly sneering, "Ukrainian brat."

A 9-year-old child, in a foreign country, should be treated with kindness,

yet was publicly shamed because of nationality.

This is not how a civilized society should behave.
