The photo shows that the U.S. Air Force E-3 Sentry AWACS #AE11EA 81-0005 was severely damaged in a drone and missile attack yesterday at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, and several KC-135 tankers were also damaged in the same attack.

The active fleet of this model has now been reduced to 15 aircraft, with another 5 deployed in the Central Command area, and currently, there are no replacement models in production.
