There’s this assumption I used to believe without questioning.

Less friction = better systems.

That’s how I saw @SignOfficial and $SIGN at the start.

Everything smooth.

Verification instant.

No delays. No uncertainty.

But now I’m not fully convinced.

Because friction doesn’t just slow things down…

sometimes it forces people to think.

To double-check.

To pause.

To question.

And when systems remove that friction completely, especially in high-speed environments like Middle Eastern digital economies, something subtle changes.

Decisions get faster…

but maybe less examined.

Trust becomes automatic…

but less conscious.

And the system keeps working perfectly.

That’s the strange part.

No visible failure.

Just a shift in human behavior underneath.

So now I’m asking myself…

Is $SIGN removing inefficiency…

or quietly removing the moments where judgment used to exist?
