WHERE DOES YOUR MONEY GO WHEN A CRYPTO CURRENCY DROPS TO ZERO?
Surely it has happened to you that you enter a coin with hope and, suddenly, your portfolio shows almost none of what you deposited. In that moment, the big question arises. Where did my money go? Did the Exchange keep it? Did it vanish?
The reality is that money does not evaporate; it simply changes hands. It is kept by those who sold before you. For someone to withdraw profits, another has to be buying that asset that is losing value.
If the project fails or is a scam, the developers take the real capital that the community injected and leave you with worthless coins. The Exchange does not keep your money; it only removes the coin if it no longer has a future, they DELIST it when it no longer has Volume, and that value ended up in the pockets of those who abandoned the ship in time.
That’s why there are no shortcuts. Before putting in a single dollar, you need to thoroughly investigate the project. What real utility does it have?, who are the developers?, how many coins are in circulation? and, above all, what problem does it come to solve in the real world?
Don’t be swayed by a pretty image or a promise of quick profits. Analyze each coin and ensure it has solid backing. Protect your wealth with education and a lot of firmness in your decisions!
