I love trading... but I act as if I want to lose my money
Every time I open a trade, I am convinced it's the right one; I enter with confidence, watch the chart, and wait for profit... but what often happens is the exact opposite. I buy when the price goes up, and sell when fear sets in, I chase the market as if I am always late, and exit the trade before it materializes. Not because the market is against me, but because I haven't understood it yet.
The truth that no one wants to admit is that the market doesn't lose anyone... we are the ones losing ourselves. We enter without a plan, we double down on losses instead of admitting them, we believe that "this time is different"... while the whales do nothing complicated, they just wait: they wait for our fear, our greed, our hesitation, and then make the decision for us.
So the real question is: is the market good or bad? Rather, are you ready to stop destroying yourself? If you are honest with yourself, you are not losing because of the market... but because you haven't learned how to act within it.
