Trust Wallet is a digital wallet associated with Binance, founded by Changpeng Zhao, and has over 220 million users. The company announced on Thursday that users can now utilize artificial intelligence (AI) based agents to perform various cryptocurrency transactions.
The company stated through its blog, "Today, Trust Wallet is launching the 'Trust Wallet Agent Kit (TWAK)'. This is an infrastructure that allows AI agents to execute actual cryptocurrency transactions according to rules set and controlled by users, operating across more than 25 blockchains." This agent can handle cross-chain swaps between several networks, including Solana and Bitcoin, and can also manage regular purchase operations.
The cryptocurrency industry is actively experimenting with AI-based automation, evolving in a direction that allows users to manage their portfolios and execute trades through agents.
The newly released toolkit works in two ways. One is that the AI agent holds its own wallet and automatically executes trades according to set rules, and the other is that it suggests trades and the user approves them.
Trust Wallet explained, "It has always been built on the principle of 'your keys, your cryptocurrency', and TWAK extends this principle into the era of AI agents. Through WalletConnect mode, AI can assist with portfolio investigation, suggestions, and execution without holding the user's keys, and the final control remains with the user."
Meanwhile, this cryptocurrency wallet was acquired by Binance in 2018, but it is currently operating as an independent company.$USDC
