Day 29 of the US-Iran Conflict: Nuclear Facilities Attacked, Strait of Hormuz 'Closed'
The conflict has entered its 29th day, and the fighting is getting increasingly fierce.
Iran launched the 84th wave of the 'True Commitment-4' operation, claiming to have destroyed a US military logistics fleet and missile defense system. Israel is also not holding back, directly bombing two Iranian nuclear facilities—the heavy water reactor and the 'Yellow Cake' factory. Iran's foreign minister stated that Israel would have to pay a 'heavy price'.
The situation in the Strait of Hormuz is escalating rapidly. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that the strait is closed to vessels related to the enemy and claimed to have driven away three ships attempting to cross. Meanwhile, Iran warned Middle Eastern civilians to 'stay away from US military bases' and stated that hotels housing US personnel would also become targets.
On the US side, the outlook is not optimistic. The Central Command admitted that over 300 US troops have been injured since the outbreak of hostilities. A single attack by Iran on a Saudi military base resulted in 12 US troops being injured, two of whom were seriously wounded. US intelligence sources revealed that the military can currently only confirm the destruction of about one-third of Iran's missile stockpile.
Diplomatically, the US envoy stated that Iran would come to the negotiating table 'this week', while Secretary of State Rubio declared that 'the war will end within weeks'. Turkey, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt may hold a meeting this weekend for discussions. The International Atomic Energy Agency again called for 'restraint'.
In summary: the fighting is fierce, negotiations are ongoing, but no one is willing to back down first. #特朗普希望尽快结束对伊朗战争
