I’ve been going through Sign Protocol for a bit now, and the more I look at it, the more it feels like one of those things that doesn’t try too hard to impress you it just starts to make sense the longer you sit with it.At a very basic level, it’s about delegated attestation for Lit nodes. Instead of every node handling everything on its own, a portion of that responsibility is delegated, and Sign Protocol steps in to handle the signing on their behalf. That’s the core idea, nothing overly complicated when you strip it down.

What I personally find interesting isn’t the terminology, but the way the whole flow becomes cleaner once responsibilities are separated. It’s not about adding more layers
