First, let's talk about the essence: contracts are not about buying and selling coins at all. Every penny you earn comes from others'爆仓. Open多 to bet on涨, open空 to bet on跌, but why even with the right direction you still get收割? Three大黑幕 tell you:
1. Funding rates are not just fees; they are收割 signals.
When the rate is positive,多头 gives空头 money; when the rate is negative,空头 subsidizes多头. Continuous high rates (for example, >0.1%) indicate that the exchange is hinting: this side is going to收割! In practice, if it exceeds 0.1% three times in a row, don’t resist, reversing layout is often more stable.
2. The爆仓 price is not calculated as you think.
Thinking that 10 times leverage will爆 when it drops by 10%? Too naive! The exchange will secretly add the平仓 fee, causing you to爆仓 early, leaving your margin completely eaten away.
3. High leverage does not equal high profits; it means high rates + high wear and tear.
100 times leverage looks exciting, but fees and funding costs are calculated based on the enlarged position. If you hold for more than a few hours, the principal will be slowly drained. High leverage is only suitable for short-term sniping; take the profit when it's good, don't fall in love with the battle.
Rolling positions should leave some breathing room.
