I Did not approach Sign Protocol like a complex system I trIed to see it the way things actually happened when I builT or observe systems in real life. it usually starts with confusion around what data even matters and that is where defining a schema feels practical to me it is not just technical it is deciding what should be recorded and how so later it actually makes sense.

then I notice control becomes important because not everyone should be able to write or change thIngs freely and that is where schema hooks start to feel useful. they add logIc in the background deciding who can do what and under which conditions which is something I have seen mising in many systems.

when I think about creting an attestation it feels like the moment where things become real because now it is not just planed structure. it is an actual signed recOrd something that can be chcked later and from what I have seen most issues are not about missing data but about data not being trusted.

storage is where I see real tradeoffs because keping everything on chain sounds ideal but is not always practical and moving data off chain saves cost but adds dependncy which shows up later.

and when I try to retrieve that data I realize quickly if the system was designed properly or not because if verificIation is hard then everything before it starts losing value.
