On March 27, the price of Bitcoin ($BTC ) fell to $66,320 per coin, while the price of Ethereum (ETH) decreased to $1,983 thousand. The prices of both assets settled at two-week low levels — the decline occurred over several hours, during which both cryptocurrencies lost about 4%.



By 3:30 PM, the price of Bitcoin was around $66.6 thousand, Ethereum$ETH was around $1.99 thousand. The total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies was at $2.3 trillion. The prices of most of the largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization fell in the range of 3–10%.
Against this backdrop, over the past four hours, cryptocurrency exchanges liquidated positions of tens of thousands of traders for a total of $257 million, according to Coinglass. Of this amount, $247 million was on long positions — those who bet on rising prices. The main losses were in the Bitcoin and Ethereum markets — about $190 million. For comparison, over 24 hours, the total amount of liquidated trading positions was $450 million, almost $400 of which also consisted of longs $DOT #ETH #BTC
