🔥 Insight of the Day

In an interview with Cointelegraph Brazil, Bruna Cabús from 21Shares provided a perspective that deserves attention: stablecoins are currently the most functional and mature element of the crypto ecosystem, while Bitcoin is undergoing a structural transformation, integrated into the traditional financial system via ETFs.

📌 Three points worth clicking:

1️⃣ Stablecoins as an economic foundation
While many associate crypto with volatility, stablecoins already solve real problems: currency protection, international payments, and access to dollars in unstable markets. “They are the most mature and economically functional part of the crypto universe,” says Bruna. Backed by government bonds, they strengthen the traditional system while creating an alternative to it – a dual effect that has put governments on alert.

2️⃣ Bitcoin: from rebel asset to institutional product
Bruna highlights that Bitcoin ETFs have lost only 5% of assets even during the recent downturn – a sign that institutional capital is not as volatile as retail. “Companies, ETFs, and sovereign entities have absorbed Bitcoin at a pace five times higher than new issuances,” she reveals.

3️⃣ Tokenization and the new market
The tokenization of real assets (RWA) still serves those who are already in the crypto universe, but the natural path is integration with the traditional system. Brazil appears as a good laboratory, with evolving regulation and a large volume of stablecoin usage.

⚠️ And the risks?
Regulation, macroeconomics, and quantum computing are on the radar. But Bruna reminds us: crypto has already shown resilience and has the capacity to adapt. What is at stake now is the quality of regulation, which can accelerate or delay this maturation.

What changes for investors?

Bitcoin reacts to global liquidity, monetary policy, and geopolitical tensions – a sign of integration, not weakness. The structural thesis remains intact: programmed scarcity, increasing adoption, and a market that demands solid fundamentals.

And you, do you still believe in Bitcoin as a store of value or have you shifted your focus to stablecoins?
