I caught myself today in an automatic action: I open the dApp — and immediately look for the “Log in” button. I don't even think. It's just a habit. And at some point, this threw me off a bit. Because if this is decentralization — why am I still “logging in” like in regular Web2?

And here I came across @SignOfficial. And instead of “oh, convenient” I felt a slight discomfort. Because they are not improving login — they seem to be removing it as an idea.

I started digging and realized: it’s not about the account, it’s about the actions. Not “I am in the system,” but “I can prove that I did something.” And this is already a different logic. There is no profile as a center — there are facts: did → proved, received → confirmed.

And here it becomes a bit uncomfortable. Because this is no longer about convenience, but about responsibility. There’s nowhere to “hide” behind a new account.

$SIGN looks like what holds this model together. And I really think: the question is not about technology. The question is whether we are ready to live in such a system.
