Araghchi: International law cannot be applied selectively or based on vested interests.
Iran’s Foreign Minister:
The United States supported Israel’s blockade of Gaza and, under the pretext of so-called “security” reasons, restricted the flow of humanitarian aid. At the same time, it accuses Iran over its actions in the Strait of Hormuz in the name of self-defense.
This is a clear double standard: Israel’s actions are deemed acceptable, while Iran’s defense against aggression is condemned. International law must not, under any circumstances, be used as a tool for selective or interest-driven application.
