The Tale of the Lost Seed: 6000 BTC Came Alive, but There’s a Catch 🕵️‍♂️

The crypto community was already prepared to applaud drug dealer Clifton Collins, who allegedly "remembered" the seed phrase for his 6000 BTC after 10 years. The first 500 BTC ($35 million) flew to Coinbase.

But there was no happy ending for the owner: it wasn't Clifton who found the paper with the keys, but the Bureau of Criminal Assets of Ireland together with Europol that picked the locks to one of his 12 wallets. Confiscation, not a miracle.
