Let’s try to understand

The more I think about Sign, the less the real question feels technical. The architecture can be structured, the attestations can be valid, and the system can still start weakening where institutions usually weaken: trust, accountability, exception handling, and power. If an issuer stays technically valid but loses credibility, what is that proof really worth? If privacy grows stronger, does explainability get weaker? If interoperability exists in format but not in meaning, has friction really been reduced? And if the system works in controlled settings, what happens when public-scale reality starts pushing back? That is where the real test begins.
