The Ethereum Foundation has taken precautionary measures by scheduling a quantum security upgrade for 2029, planning to solidify the foundation through four hard forks. Although the quantum threat seems distant, the EF's meticulous approach of 'reinforcing the moat first' is indeed prudent.

From a fundamental perspective, forks I and J serve as defensive precursors, while the real hard core lies in forks L and M. By using ZK to compress the state and applying a quantum shield to L2, this combination not only guards against future risks but also extends the lifespan of ETH at the underlying architecture level, with a very clear value support logic. Although the narrative spans a wide range, it excels in its solid underlying logic.

Vitalik's strategic move is far-reaching, directly extending the moat to ten years later. Given this time span, I wonder if the brothers' positions can hold out until then to witness the performance of quantum computers? #Ethereum #ZK #L2 $ETH
