In the last days of March 2026, a wave of announcements on various social media platforms has put Venezuelan users in the spotlight. Have they offered you 40 USDT per hour just for "lending" your Binance account? Sounds like the dream job, right? But behind that "quick money" offer lies a network of criminality that could land you in JAIL.
How does the scam work?
Scammers look for KYC (verified) accounts to use as "Digital Mules". By operating with your identity, they launder money from extortions or P2P frauds, leaving the legal trail directly to you.
The Weight of the Law: Why it is a serious crime
It's not just "breaking the rules of an app"; in Venezuela, renting your account activates offenses classified in organic laws:
Money Laundering (LOCDOFT Law, Art. 4): By lending your account to move money from third parties, you legally become an "interposed person" (frontman). Ignorance does not exempt you: the penalty ranges from 8 to 12 years in prison.
Cyber Crimes (Special Law, Art. 15 and 16): Granting your credentials to facilitate fraudulent transactions makes you responsible for the fraudulent management of systems. This carries penalties of 2 to 6 years in prison.
Breach of Contract: According to Binance's Terms of Service, the account is personal and non-transferable. Violating this gives the platform the right to confiscate your funds and hand over your complete history to the authorities (CICPC/UNIF).

Your identity is priceless
Renting your account for a few dollars is selling your freedom. If the money that goes through your account is "dirty," for justice, you are the criminal.
"The law does not accept ignorance as an excuse. Don't be the shield of a criminal."
