Laozi said, "To reach the extreme of emptiness and to hold stillness firmly," the Dao follows nature and does not rely on external pursuits. If the heart moves recklessly, all realms will be disturbed; if the heart remains in emptiness and stillness, the present moment will be peaceful. Recognitions differ, and debating is futile; true resonance does not lie in words but in being in sync. Those who understand require no more words, while those who do not understand will find more words of no benefit. Rather than seeking external validation, it is better to settle one's true heart internally. If there is no resonance, silence is peace. Where the heart is at peace is where one returns; by guarding the true self and returning to simplicity, one achieves completeness and freedom.
