Diplomatic efforts are aimed at establishing a monthly ceasefire mechanism between the United States and Iran, reports Israeli Channel 12 on Tuesday.
Steve Vitkoff and Jared Kushner are working on a framework for an agreement similar to previous arrangements regarding Gaza and Lebanon, reports Israeli Channel 12. Negotiations on the 15-point plan will take place during the proposed month-long ceasefire.
The 15-point plan includes provisions for granting the International Atomic Energy Agency full access to all information and transferring enriched uranium to the agency, according to the Israeli television channel Channel 12.
The New York Times reported that the United States sent Iran a 15-point plan to end the war in the Middle East. The plan was conveyed through Pakistan, whose army chief became a key mediator between the two countries, officials said.
The plan addresses Iran's ballistic missiles and nuclear programs, according to two officials familiar with the diplomatic efforts who spoke to The Times. It also discusses maritime routes, said one of the officials.
The Chief of the Army of Pakistan, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has become the main mediator between the United States and Iran, while Egypt and Turkey encourage Iran to engage constructively, officials added. It is believed that Field Marshal Munir has close ties with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran.

Recently he contacted Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament and former commander of the Revolutionary Guards, suggesting that Pakistan host negotiations between Iran and the United States, reported an Iranian official and a Pakistani official.
It remains unclear how widely the plan was disseminated among Iranian officials and whether Iran will accept it as a basis for negotiations. It is also unclear whether Israel, which is conducting bombings of Iran in conjunction with the United States, supports this proposal.
