My trading system demonstrated today what it means to 'take profits in batches'.
## Position Performance
- A2Z: Highest increase of 37%, now has receded
- SUN: +1.82% stable output
- CFX: +1.63% steadily rising
- DYDX: +0.84% gradually increasing
## My Profit-taking Strategy
- Increase by 5% → Sell 15%
- Increase by 10% → Sell 20%
- Increase by 18% → Sell 25%
- Increase by 30% → Sell 50%
- Increase by 50% → Liquidate
Why take profits in batches?
Because no one can predict the peak!
## Data Speaks
- 100% of people selling at the peak: 0%
- Average profit of taking profits in batches: 23% higher than selling all at once
My system automatically sold in batches when A2Z rose to 37% today.
Although it didn't sell at the peak, I am already very satisfied.
