Tecno India has shared the first official glimpse of the upcoming Spark 50 5G on Instagram, hinting at a refreshed design and the brand’s push toward 5G in its Spark lineup.

The teaser only reveals the corner of the device, but it shows a redesigned back featuring a horizontal camera island surrounded by a raised ledge. The model name itself is also notable, as previous Spark 40 series devices were largely limited to 4G connectivity.

Most phones in the previous generation, including the Spark 40, relied on Helio G81 or G91 chipsets, while the Spark 40 Pro+ also remained 4G with a Helio G200 processor. Only the Spark Go variant offered 5G support in some markets, powered by the Dimensity 6400 and sometimes branded as Spark 40 5G.

Leaked details suggest the Spark 50 5G will launch with two battery capacities, 6,150mAh and 6,500mAh, likely depending on region. Memory options are expected to include 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.

Tecno has not yet confirmed the chipset, but the company says the Spark 50 5G is arriving soon.
