Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said on Sunday that if Trump acts on his threat, the energy infrastructure of the US or Israel will be "unexpectedly destroyed."

Trump posted on Truth Social on Saturday that the US will "target and wipe out" Iran's power plants if the sea route is not reopened within 48 hours.

The Strait of Hormuz, which supplies about 20% of global oil, has been closed since the conflict began on February 28, causing crude oil prices to skyrocket.
