ONUS develops from the VNDC platform, associated with entrepreneur Vương Lê Vĩnh Nhân, the founder and operator of this ecosystem.
Launched in 2020, ONUS initially provided the VNDC stablecoin pegged to the VND, allowing users to convert between fiat currency and digital assets.
Over time, the platform expanded into a multi-service ecosystem including swap, P2P, margin, futures, and investment products.
However, these activities are still in the "legal gray area" in Vietnam, posing many risks for users.
