Is there such a thing as 'risk-free trading'?
Yes... but not from the start of the trade, rather after the trade moves in your favor.
The image explains a very important idea called: Trailing Stop
The idea is simple:
1️⃣ You enter the trade and specify:
Stop loss
Profit target
2️⃣ When the price moves in your direction and makes a profit:
You raise the stop loss to the entry point or above it
3️⃣ Here the trade becomes:
A risk-free trade
Because you will either exit with a profit
Or exit without a loss
When do we move the stop loss?
Move the stop loss when:
The price breaks a peak
It performs a retest
It starts rising again
Here you move the stop loss below the new low or above your entry point.
The golden rule:
Do not move the stop loss because you are afraid
Move it because the market gave you a technical reason
Like:
Breaking a peak
Creating a higher low
Retest
Order Block
Demand zone
In the end:
The losing trader:
Enters the trade → Leaves the stop loss in place → The market returns → The trade turns from profit to loss.
The smart trader:
Enters the trade → The price profits → Moves the stop loss → Secures the profit → Makes the trade risk-free.
If you understand this idea and apply it correctly
It will make a big difference in your trading results
