When I entered the @MidnightNetwork network expecting just another narrative about artificial intelligence in cryptocurrencies, but this was different in a calm and unsettling way.
The night economy already exists in a chaotic and informal manner, operating on trust, screenshots, and I'll pay you later. It works, but it crashes just as much. No real identity, no solid verification, no accountability.
What caught my attention here is not the noise but the attempt to connect those missing pieces: proof of work and payment. A simple idea, but very difficult in reality.
Verification in the real world is fragile. Incentives can be exploited. Tokens tend to concentrate. And those who need these systems the most may not be able to access them even if timely guarantees are required.🚀💜
