When a person goes into prostration (sajdah) during prayer, their head is down touching the ground while the heart is slightly above. It is part of our faith that in this position, a person is closest to their Lord. But do you know that going into sajdah has not only spiritual benefits, but physical ones as well?

When a person is in this position, the brain does some amazing things. Normally, when we are standing, the heart has to work harder to pump blood up to the brain. But in sajdah, when the head is lowered, gravity helps increase the flow of blood toward the head and brain.

Because of this, the front part of the brain receives fresh, oxygen-rich blood. This is the part that shapes a person’s personality and helps in making decisions. It also helps reduce stress and tension.

So, by bowing your head in prayer before your Lord, you refresh your nervous system and keep your brain healthy. Perhaps that’s why we recite in sajdah:“Glory be to my Lord, the Most High

You can ask "Allah"for every good thing—whether it is health, peace of mind, or provision (including profit from business or even crypto).
