📉 The Road to the 2028 Halving

We are currently in the "mid-cycle" phase. The next Bitcoin Halving is projected to occur around March 26, 2028.

The Reward Drop: At block 1,050,000, the mining reward will drop from 3.125 BTC to 1.5625 BTC.

Scarcity Phase: Historically, the two years leading up to a halving (which includes all of 2026 and 2027) are characterized by the "Accumulation Phase," where institutional supply begins to tighten in anticipation of the reduced issuance.
