Why is $NIGHT falling hard and continuing in a downtrend? Real data + what to do to avoid losing more
Hello, I am Lapy, many newcomers ask me about NIGHT after seeing the drop.
Having a price between 0.046 and 0.048 with a market capitalization of more than 760 million and a volume between 120 to 209 million in just 24 hours, it remains very well positioned even with those drops of up to 21% at its highest points.
The main reason is NOT a random “FUD.” It is structural:
The airdrops (Glacier Drop + Scavenger Mine) release tokens every 90 days in 4 parts (25% each time). It started in December 2025 and continues until the end of 2026. This creates constant selling pressure because people cash out and sell. About ~30% of the supply remains to be released → real dilution.
A lot of people selling quickly (volume/market cap ratio very high). In addition to having a general risk-off market + post-listing correction on Binance.
For me, for now, it will have a short-term downtrend, and I will keep defending it fiercely until the bulk of unlocks is completed. But in the medium term, it could change if the federated mainnet and real privacy dApps take off since the latest news is that Instagram will take away even more privacy with its new end-to-end encryption news; if this continues in different companies, NIGHT could gain ground in this world of digital privacy, becoming the gold standard as it already happened with $ETH in its models.
To cushion losses and maximize gains, I recommend the following based on data:
Always use Stop Loss (3-5% below the entry price).
Partial Take Profit (sell 30-50% when it rises 8-10%).
Isolated Mode if you use Futures (never Cross).
DCA on dips (buy little by little below $0.045 if you believe in the project).
Staking / generating DUST (the token generates resources for free fees – use it if available).
Only risk what you can afford to lose (maximum 1-2% of your wallet).
What are you going to do with $NIGHT? Are you selling or buying?
