Today I came across a video of a young man who graduated from Peking University but couldn't find a job and is delivering takeout. He has fallen into the "cut-off line".
I looked up his educational background.
Tao Wenjun participated in the Anhui college entrance examination in 2021, scoring 660 points, ranking among the top 100 in Anhui Province and being the top liberal arts student in Anqing City in 2021.
He majored in sociology at Peking University. According to his video,
this major, in fact, did not help him understand society.
Of course, he also summarized his mistakes in the video:
1. Chose the wrong major, aiming for Peking University's reputation.
2. Still has a high school mindset.
3. High aspirations but low abilities.
I think he is trying to leverage his own experiences to gain attention and generate traffic.
But it cannot be denied that Mr. Tao has certainly not found an ideal job, and helplessly resorts to this measure, relying on selling his experiences to attract traffic and pursue the path of self-media. If there were even a somewhat decent job available, he probably wouldn't intentionally deliver takeout to gain traffic.
The current employment situation is indeed very poor.
Moreover, it is foreseeable that the future will only get worse.
